Maddie heard her aunt say it time and time again, every time a plate was smashed or a heavy old piece of furniture was moved. Always referring to an unnamed She, whose insane rage destroyed everything new, who had moved Maddie's wry but aging aunt through four different houses in the last three years before the older woman asked her niece for a place to stay. And now, sweeping up shards of mirror, Maddie couldn't help but wish her aunt had not arrived with the ghost that destroyed everything.

So the wonderful girl I met (and have been raving about) and I are now official :)

I am so happy! And so grateful to my friend Nancy, who got us to actually dance together, lol. Yeah, I had kind of broken the ice by talking to her, but Nancy got us going...

...and it's been amazing ^.^"

Lol I don't know what else to say, because I'm getting sidetracked into thinking about her and all... I'm just in awe of her... sometimes I wish I could be more like her, and then I'm deeply honored that she wants to be in a relationship with me. Getting to know her has been amazing, and I am overwhelmed with admiration and respect. I am looking forward to continuing to get to know her, and, if she would like, growing with her....

She's beautiful, intelligent, responsible, caring, kind, sweet, funny, driven, has a great head on her shoulders, loves British comedy, lol. In my eyes... she's like the most sought-after high fashion model of happiness. If that makes any sense lol.

She is mine. I am hers.

It's amazing.

Sometimes it is lonely.
